Mission:
Our mission is to achieve racial equity across the Framingham Public School system including hiring and retention of teachers, staff and administrators; professional development; curriculum and instruction; and district policy and procedures. We seek to empower families across the Framingham Public School system to drive systemic change for better and equitable education for all children.
Values:
We hold true that our diversity and all our children are worth and deserve a equitable education, social emotional learning, and safe welcoming environment.
Vision:
Our vision is that FPS will commits itself to excellence in equity in education for all students; and provide a culturally responsive education that results in equitable outcomes for all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal development, and preparation for education and work after high school graduation.
To accomplish this goal, FPS will commits itself to involving school personnel, community members, students, and their families as partners in an ongoing process of educational improvement. We envision the FPS will construct an environment of excellence and responsibility which fosters intellectual, social, physical, emotional, and ethical growth for all. Students, faculty and staff must all continue to learn and grow.
